There is such a thing as the Holy Trinity - God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Plus, I'll ask you a similar question - when John the Baptist baptized Jesus, why did God say - this is my only begotten Son whom I am very proud of" if Jesus was part God, was that God praising himself?

Jesus isn't part of god he is his son. Plus the reason why we pray to God through Jesus is because Jesus is the moderator and human didn't start praying till Jesus was crusified thus puting to effect the new testament.

That is why Muslims say Jesus is just a prophet NOT A GOD. Isn't that proof enough. Like you said, if he was a god, why pray for himself?

Because one is a little of God (or great of God) does that negate the respect?
Why would a lesser God not worship a Greater God.
Christ was brought forth into life by God and Christ was in all ways from the beginning God separate from God. From the beginning Christ (The Word) was the son of God.

Don't think too deeply about it as the whole story is a fiction and is as riddled with illogic as swiss cheese is riddled with holes.

i thought Jesus was supposed to be the son of god.
and if there's only one god, and will ever be, there is no next in line to the role of god. therefore Jesus was just a man as the Muslims say
