Get a law passed keeping them away from organized religions untill they are 18. Then have theology classes in school that cover all the major religions. That way they will be equiped with the tools needed to tell fact from fiction before they are introduced to such silly concepts.

Brain-washing is a bit relative, in my opinion. Everyone is brain-washed or else they wouldn't have any beliefs at all.

Though, if you want to keep your kids from being sucked into groups, just teach them how to think for themselves. Tell them to stay true to their own personal beliefs.

Keep them away from TV, computers, telephones. Don't let them read any books, cause even the kid stories are brain-washers. Don't let them talk to anybody, because anybody is already brain-washed.
You, as a parent, can't teach your kid, because you are already brain-washed. So, if you don't want your kid to be brain-washed, you only can have an empty-brained kid.... so, what do you prefer?

By finding out who is really brain washing or at least trying to.
I mean religious people say Athiests are trying to brainwash people by using evolution and then Athiests say religious people are doing the same by telling people "God" created them.

For once can we just stop bashing each other and everyone have their chance to preach what they believe? Whoever has the most true argument will win at the end, wouldn't you agree?
