God already know where we will end up, heave or hell, so we have no choice. BUT people keep saying about FREE WILL. What a contradiction of opinion.

The purpose of Free Will is for Man to love and obey God. If one defines the nature of True Love - one can only love someone if it is done freely. The moment that this action is coerced or forced, then it could not be called "true love".

This is the reason why Man has to have "free will". Without free will, man can not love truly, and at the same time would have no means to follow God. However, Man can also choose to abuse this "Free Will" by committing sin or disobeying God.

Finally, God allows man to choose freely even though God knows that man often falls prey to sin. This is a form of unconditional love - letting someone to choose in the hope that the person would realize the "right" thing to do.

Hi!

This is a good question...hug!

God does not magnetize the future difinitely....

I will show you how He balanced FREE WILL and FUTURE EVENTS:

1. When one decides to sin, God immediately devices a plan to redeem the sinner to back to safety. When Adam sinned, God immediately delivered the "plan of the Messiah to save humanity". This verse is not even in the NEW TESTAMENT...that is how much God loves us! He finds ways to bring u back to safety.

Genesis 3:15 "....he(the Messiah) shall bruise your(Satan's) head, and you shall bruise his heel."

You will realise that this plan was not ALWAYS there UNTIL ADAM sinned. So this is proof that God has not MAGNETIZED the whole future but modifies it according to the behavior of man.

2. Now about the final destinition of everyone, God did not magnetize it as well:

Immediately one sins, God knows his END, but immediately one repents and come to Him, YOUR FUTURE CHANGES TO A GOOD ONE...this means that YOU DETERMINE YOUR DESTINATION by how you live!

3. Please read this verse to CONFIRM WHAT I AM SAYING:

Deut. 11:26-28

"See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse:

the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today,

and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way that I am commanding you today, to go after other gods that you have not known.

From this verse, one learns that HIS FUTURE is dependent on your response to God's commandments!

It's like the police, you can't keep on speeding on a low speed road and when you get caught and put you in a cell, you say "THIS IS UNFAIR, I HAVE NOT KILLED ANYONE OR CAUSED ANY ACCIDENT, I DON'T DESERVE TO BE ARRESTED!"

Hope this helps.

God is real and I know that if you keep searching the TRUTH like you do in this question, you will find the TRUE GOD, Jesus Christ.

Hug!

God knows ur fate no doubt!! But HE has given u a mind of ur own, so that u can think and if u have bad habits or are a sinner then u can mend ur ways!! So that ur fate can be changed and from Hell u can shift into heaven!! So ur free will is there for u to chose the path of goodness or become a bad person!! by choosing any one path u can change ur fate!! Your fate is in ur own hands!!

Okay, that question is a little bit confusing for me. See we have a choice now to accept Jesus Christ as our savior, it's all our choice. And if we do then we go to Heaven and if we don't we go to Hell. But God knows the past, present and the future. We have the choice, but God ahead of time knows what they are gonna choose. It's a good question and hard to explain, but I hope this helped somewhat!

Many religions suggest that you choose how to live your life.

Some scientists agree. There is no evidence precluding alternate realities in which you make different choices.

The choices you make may determine which reality your conscious mind may access through your senses. In this sense you do have free will; you may choose which one-dimensional timeline you follow among infinite possibilities.

If you take comfort in "God" watching over you or forgiving poor choices you make, good for you if it makes you feel better.

I'm a casual christian but I don't believe we are pre-destined. I believe it is complete free will. And we DO have a choice between heaven or hell. The scriptures have given us the guidelines & the rest is up to us. God may ultimately know what choices we'll make, but he does not intervene in those choices. That's what faith & christianity are all about.

No if God ends this dispensation of time to soon then all the ones who don't make it will say he is un fair, so God is not unfair and he is giving them a chance to be saved! That's the LOVE OF THE FATHER! So be saved and believe Jesus died and was raised by the power of Gods spirit! And then you will receive his spirit and know what I'm talking about!

Well, they claim our lives on Earth is a test. But an omnipotent being would already know the end-results of the test. So what would be the point of the test? One of the many contradictions that can't be answered by rational thought... welcome to religion my friend

It's all a matter of whether or not you believe in a timeline, where everything was meant to happen. So god would know what will happen as a result of your free will.
