whats right, is not necessarily good, particulary when it affects a lot of people. What Jesus did on the cross did not look at first glance to be a good thing, and certainly did not look like any kind of victory in any way shape or form, but was in actual fact the greatest victory ever; what looked to the world as a defeat, was in fact a King winning a kingdom, taking on death itself and winning, on our behalf He fought sin and death and won. Three days later He rose from the dead to prove it, fifty days later, we were finally reconnected back to our Father in heaven through Jesus, linked by the Holy Spirit, taking us from death to life, not because we are good, but because we are loved, without conditions, without limits, to the point that God himself came down, became poor so we could become rich, suffered so that we would not have to, and died so that we would live, that is real goodness, one that does not look for a payoff of some kind, a true selfless act by a Father who loves without limits, despite what you have done, and just simply wants you to come home, and be a family again.

Do you mean happiness can bring good for you? I don't think so, happines is just for a while, at the end someone will come to you and give you bad thing while you have a good live and happiness? What ever you do, there is no way for you to run from bad thing.

some believe that happiness is a choice, you have two cups of equal amounts of happiness & sadness because everything has its opposite, however once people drink from the cup of sadness they become hooked while declaring 'god this tastes terrible!! a state of equilibrium can seem boring to some and others are able to maintain their serenity through the most painful experiences, wether it's to do with goodness or mental attitude I don't know but a positive attitude would probably choose to be good, though we all have bad days.

Not always. I do good things every day but I'm severly depressed and have no happiness. I can't tell you an appropriate answer I'm afraid. All I can say is if you do good to others it may make you a better person in your own eyes.

are you asking if the end justifies the means, the answer should be "no" but it is usually "yes of course".

is nasty work good if you get paid, yes.
is terrible medicine good if it heals you, yes.
is murdering your neighbour good if you can have his property when you are done, let me think about that one.

not necessarily, you can be good and not be happy. You need to have a relation ship with God through his son Jesus christ! this will bring happiness and peace even in turmoil!
