The younger you are, the more age DOES matter. The older you are, the less it matters.
You say a "young boy." Yeah, that's too young.
If he's 21 and you're 25, that's ok. If he's 18 and you're 22, that's kind of.. alright, that's ok. But if he is younger than 18, he is a minor and you need to cool off.

Age doesn't mater in love once you get past around 25 or 27 years old, by then experience and maturity equalizes it out. Good Luck

If your love is within its natural meaning only, there is no harm and no point in your mom not liking. Age does'nt matter in love, but it genuinely matters in the further proceedings if any attached to that love.

i had an affair with a 34 year old lady when i was 17. My 7 year relationship was with my gf wo was 4 years older than me. bottom line is that i have never dated anyone younger than me before, and am 29 now. does that answer your question?

Hell no it doesnt matter!! if it matters to u then figure it out now...the only thing that would matter would be maturity and height and if ur fine with thoses things now then whos gonna stop u! it'll only get better! it doesnt matter hwat people say...follow ur hear and just do what u want! good luck!

It doesn't matter. If you mom doesn't like it too bad because it is you who is in love and i bet that makes you so happy. If your mom loves you then she will understand that he makes you happy. The relations is between you and him and it doesnt include anyone else...not even yout mother.

It depends how old you are and how old he is...
I'm 24 and been seeing a boy that's 20.. recently and I think that is perfectly fine.. as long as your not 18 and he's 14 (that's sick)
But if he's over 18 I say who cares.. If he makes you happy then go for it girl!!!..

I totally don't think that age matters in love. YOu can love anyone you want to love, if you are sure that you love that person , that is ok.

if you are still a kid,then say to your mum you broke up.
parents never like their kids boyfrnd / gfrnd. they will always want you to pick who THEY think is good.
so keep in touch with this guy, but don't make it known. When the time is right you can visit him - age
