A cup of tea solves everything in the UK, what do you yanks have to match it?

Well ok I may not be a full blowing 'yank' as you called us cos i was only born there and have lived in the uk since i was a baby i think my parents moved here when i was 4 months old for my mums job and we have stayed here ever since

BUT

I have been to the US for long periods of time on many occasions and i want to move back there one day when i can have enough money to go and I would say that what solves everything in the US well money, sex, drink, drugs, guns and rock n roll

I have had tea numerous times I don't think it's the tea, but rather the history and culture you Brits have behind it. Tea to us is flavored hot water, and since we prefer sweet things we would rather drink lemonade. As for something that solves everything we have nothing that comes close except for maybe a cold beer on a hot day.

Actually, the do the same. For example, 200 years ago they wanted to make a lot of tea by throwing a shipful of tea into the sea, but they forgot to add sugar... lol

Baseball matches, barbecue, thriving music scene, hollywood dream factory, a population composed entirely out of immigrants (three cheers for multiculturalism!), diverse and awe inspiring landscape....etc. Oh yeah, and we too dip into the tea bags when all else fails.
