As far as what I had discussed with docs, they say & my exp is that off course contacts are far more comfortable, except a few limitations, which can be considered as neglegible as compared with thier advantages, but the glasses are safer for eyes in the long run. The eye ball is intact , without any external interference, until u use glasses. Future may docs discover some ill effects of lens on the eye surface.
Seeing all this it is better to use the contacts outside restricted to a max of 10 hrs, & at home prefer glasses. Even if u have to be out for longf time. have a change with glasses for 1,2or4 hrs, again get contacts, this combination may last upto approx 15-16 hrs at occasions.

I have both myself. I believe both are fine, unless the degree of bad eye-sight varies a lot between your two eyes - if you wear glasses this way, one lens will be much heavier than the other lens. Otherwise I think they should be the same.

I wear glasses when I didn't get enough sleep, but it doesn't look so pretty. However, people have commented that I look more professional when I'm wearing glasses, so when I go for interviews I also wear them.

Contact lenses are for times when I want to be pretty. It has no obvious advantages over glasses since it makes my eyes tired and dry more easily, and you have to be very clean and careful or you could damage your eyes. However, it can also be convenient for times like when you're shopping for clothes - you do not need to take off your glasses to try clothes on. =)

Contact lenses have their pros and cons. I used contact lenses about a year or so ago. I dont have that bad of eye sight, I'm near sited. I would try contacts. I believe they have 30 day trials on them now. If you'd like to try them, try them and see what happens. They're a little more work than glasses, you have to keep your eyes hydrated and you have to figure out how to put them in without any trouble but they show you! Hope I helped!
