I am a CHRISTIAN and living in a muslim country. The education system in my country allows non-muslims to choose ethics or Islamiyat. I selected Islamiyat (Islamic Studies) during all of my study tenure uptill Graduation.
Of course I can not say I have studied the whole Quran But I can say I have much more knowledge of Islam than an average Muslim.
Well comming towards the question, I felt through my studies that Basic Concepts regarding presence of GOD, Prophets are same.
Together with this I would like to mention that Quran and Bible are two different books, these can't be same. Christianity and Islam are two different religions, these can't also be the same.

In My opinion Every body should respect the other persons religion and beliefs. One should not point out such points which can create a dispute.

well i dont know if i should answer this ? but still i wanna.

im a muslimah, i follow my Faith and beleif and i will die being stead fsat in beleivin wat i stood up for all my life.

but the other side of the coin. i studied at an irish presentaion church convent for whole of my school life. and i read bible at the age of 9. back that time i was the only person who had read and got to know more than my christian classmates.

also by the time i was 15 i had even studied books from hinduism

well i beleive that knowledge is light and it is the path to Almighty. ignorance may b a mistake but not allowing 2 learn and out grow urself is a sin.

Well I am a Muslim and I have studied Bible and I find it sending out the same exact message as whole for what Quran and other books have been sent for.

There are point where I can not agree for example if I see Jesus saying "Don't think I have come to destroy the Law but to fulfill" and then I see a guy name Paul who "thinks" he has seen Jesus or God saying "Nah, all those old Laws do not apply to you because I say Jesus died for your sins"

I usually keep my knowledge about Bible to myself unless I am arguing with a Christian who *is* using Bible to prove his point or bash my faith.

I have studied the Qur'an, and its easy to see how it is not the work of God, or has been manipulated by people who wanted thing to be as they seen them. Mohammad loved and tough Jesus, people took Mohammad to great profit, which he was, but they changed even Mohammad's words. When you read it you will understand. Mohammad was a Christian.
