It can work if you become sober and sincere and promise your self not to heart her feelings , no nasty words , no arguments ,and ready to do all sort of house chorus without any hesitation and question , always ready to help her out in any matter or situation .

being smart or not so intelligent isnt what makes a relationship work. If you have good communication, feelings for each other it may work. If you treat each other as equals all should be ok tho if you feel that because you had better education than him your better than him think again. He may be a drop out but he wont want to be reminded of that daily. He will need the same respect that you are given, you need to be honest with each other of what your expectations are.You may be able to help him better himself and get him back on the right track. What ever it is your decison to make dont make your choice on what others say listen to what is going thru your mind.

Of course it could work. My husband and I come from very different backgrounds and yet we are sooooooo much alike and get along wonderfully. Just because a person has been to jail or prison and didn't go to college definitely does not mean that they are stupid or unworthy. I think we have all met complete idiots that have college degrees.....a piece of paper doesn't define a person. Never form an opinion of a person based on the things they have done or haven't done in their past.

anything is possible. just because he dropped out of high school does not mean he is un-intelligent, and just because she graduated with a masters degree doesn't mean she is smart ~ it means that she did her homework and he didn't. if two are compatible, no matter the history, then they are compatible. there may be a gap in interests, but that can keep the two of you interesting...

It would depend as to why he went to jail. I've heard guys reforming and getting a decent job after going to jail one time. Then I've heard guys going back to jail several times and never able to get a steady job. So, it would depend on what kind of life would you like to have. One with policemen coming to your door or something better.

You'll have great sex for a while, but the relationship will never work. Once you run out of sex positions to try, you'll have to talk at some point, and the difference in your educational levels is just too great.

You've both been in different social settings and it could be awkward in certain situations.
Depends on it you both care and want it to work.
Anything is possible. You'll never know unless you try.

sometimes girls get that desire to date the young, bad boy. think about your future children. will he be there for them? socio-economic status and education can really be barriers to an intimate relationship down the road, when you're both 40ish.
