Animals certainly do! After all if man has they deserve too. But about plants and trees, I think one must accept it!

Soul is felt, it's existence is not yet proved! Existence of soul is a miracle for any scientist! Al though we have all body parts like brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidney etc.,, And all are functioning, where is life. In which part of the body is LIFE or SPIRIT or the SOUL is hidden?

I mean, a dead one also has got all these body parts, but where is LIFE in it?

No one knows! But we can feel the soul all over our body! A mystery in ourselves... We can't feel other one's soul, no matter how much think relationship we have...

But one need to accept the existence of other one's soul, as the person belives he/ she has!!

That way, plants and trees also live.., they face their fate in this world..! Die and decay in this land (earth)!

Believe.., THEY HAVE SOULS..!!!!

An interesting question. Does one define a soul as a thing present when alive, and absent when deceased? Does one define it as a persons immortal prescence which dwells within until time of death? The book Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card discusses the lives of trees in a somewhat alien and fictionaly matter, but it presents more or less valid ideas. Of course a tree is alive, but what could a soul do for it? Trees have no nerves or brains, so they do not feel pain or heartache, but they do sense when danger(insects, fire) is afoot and warn each other.

i think of there may well be some difference between a spirit and a soul. yet interior the LDS faith we are taught this. Moses 3:9 And out of the floor made I, our lord god, to advance each and every tree, clearly, it extremely is appealing to the sight of guy; and guy could desire to behold it. And it grew to become additionally a residing soul. For it replaced into religious interior the day that I created it; for it remaineth interior the sector wherein I, God, created it, yea, even all issues which I arranged for using guy; All issues residing have a spirit, skill, or soul. call it what you like. Many historic cultures knew and understood this. as a results of fact of this a wicca will ask a tree in the previous breaking a limb for a workforce. as a results of fact of this the interior sight American will ask forgiveness of his brother, the deer, for taking his life so as that the village and the youngsters won't bypass hungry. And as a results of fact of this we could continuously walk gently on earth respecting the life we've been given stewardship over. It does no longer propose do no longer eat meat or chop down a tree - despite the fact that it is going to characterize be in charge and get exhilaration from that which factors up its life so as that our lives may well be enriched.

I think that animals absolutely have souls. Animals act and think too logically to be soulless nothings. They have different personalities, characters etc. They express too many emotions, they are too in tune with others to not have souls. Also, why would someone as great as GOD is said to be make something as wonderful and beneficial to the human race to be with out a soul. When you look into the eyes of an animal there is so much depth and feeling and love looking back at you its hard to imagine them being without a soul.

They have spirits, but not souls. I wonder if some people have souls. I'm speaking of very cruel people. But, I also wonder if my friend pepper has a soul. She has four legs, long black hair all over her body, and a tail like a rooster. If loyalty, love, and joy are a test for soul, she should have one! Sadly, if you used the same test on people, most would fail...

I don't know about plants - But animals sure do !

They do show love, Fear of death, Hurt when injured, Hurt when their kids are taken away. The have their own intelligent levels - basically every emotion a human shows - an animal shows it too - what makes us different is the intelligence levels - not souls !

I am so sure that they have souls !

The fact that we evolved from the smallest microbes must mean that ALL living things, plants or otherwise must have a soul. The Christians who so desperately and futilely attempt to dismiss any such notion will all return as worms in their next incarnation.

For sure, It's confirmed that every creature has soul. Lyall Watson (A scientist) in his book "Super-nature" says about a very interesting technique for Soul Photography. In this kind of Photography every creature has a nimbus. For example he took a photo from a leaf before cutting and after cutting you can recognize that which one has soul or not.

Of course they have soul, same like us. Even the STONE has soul. Some of the stone can move, become bigger and so on. What we can do is to appreciate of their life. Don't damage or kill them unless you want to use them with a purpose even they are small.
