To lose weight you have to keep a calorie log and write down every bit. Then you need to know how much you are burning. The only way to lose weight is to have a lot more physical activity than calories consumed. Don't think that you have to work out to get that (although it helps). No food specifically will cause you to lose weight. You should eat healthy foods, of course. Lots of veggies, fruits, whole grains, and lean meat. Lots of water. Cut off the bad stuff you drink. Okay, on that job can you move around a lot? If so, you have it made. If you are sitting and burning no calories, you will have to get in as much physical activity as possible. Don't ride, if you can walk. If at your job, you can just even be on your feet, you are burning more calories. I found out I burn more calories doing laundry than walking on my treadmill. So I have a new outlook on how much movement we can get into our days. Talking on your cell phone, pace the floor! I'm using a BodyBugg that tracks all of that. I heard on HGTV network last night that there is a new tech toy that is inexpensive and clicks on your belt. Shows the calories you are burning. Then you can do the math from your food journal. I keep a 650 cal. deficit, because I'm losing 1 and .5 pounds per week. Blessings!

Hi
Try following this programme and maintain a food diary so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Good luck

Views about weight loss

Today I am going to introduce you my fight with my weight problem. I have been working to lose weight. What I have been doing for losing weight is waking up early in the morning around 6 am (Which is early for me as I was used to wake up around 8 in the morning).

I went out after doing the morning daily routine works. I run around 1.5 km in the morning. It is a great idea going for running in the morning as it keeps me active for the whole day. One thing I want to mention is that running is going to help us much as compared to walking. I do some easy exercise for around 30 minutes per day. After running and exercising and running, I return home.

Now I get ready for my office. Take my breakfast and reached office by 10. One thing I take care for the whole day is that I do not go for the junk food. I never get idle after taking my breakfast/lunch or dinner. I do some (around 10 minutes) walking after taking my lunch and dinner. It is very harmful to go to bad immediately after taking the dinner. So all in all I want to say that I do some activity (like walking) after my eating’s.

One thing, which I always follow, is that never drive if the distance is less than 1 km. I think it is not a difficult routine to follow.

u can actually go for some cardio exercise like jogging around your neighbourhood before your work.and make sure u jog with an empty stomach so that u are burning away fats from the previous day and not on what u ate on the day itself.it really works!try it!maybe u can try avoiding sweet food, because it really tends to weaken your heart ad thus u wont be able to exercise well too!!:)

Exercise, healthy diet...I'm sure you've heard it all before.

What concerns me is the amount of weight you want to lose in such a short time. (about 4 pounds a week for those of you who need the conversion from the metric system)

This amount of weight, lost this quickly, could cause you some medical problems, such as gall stones.

Take it slower, be fair to your body, and good luck.
