You are making yourself look even more stupid than I already knew you were. Jesus was a Jew, moron. Have you ever cracked a bible? Do you know how to read? Mexicans are just the only ones who are tacky enough to name their kids after the son of God. I think it's ridiculous that they do that but that's them. It's the same way I don't understand why they name almost every girl child Maria. It's just plain tacky.
Adobedumbass, I wonder why you seem to think you know so much? Is it because you are ID numer 19, 20? I have a college education, so your "uneducated southerner" theory doesn't wash. At any rate, I would rather be from the south than be a criminal from South of the border. Who is better off? Also, I have had some writing published in a book so that also disproves your "uneducated southerner" theory, as the editors only chose the best work that comes in.
I find it difficult to believe that a complete stranger would insult someone they know nothing about like this, as you have insulted me in TWO posts. There has to be a reason. I think you are really another person on here who has caused a lot of trouble and pretends to be many other people. Why else would you go out of your way to insult me many times? If you are going to try to be slick, at least use some common sense.

Jesus does look really good in paintings when he is depicted in hispanic form. He really does not look good in the gringo form. I really would love to see them really take it out far in a truly middle eastern form of what he would have truly looked like. It is fine to name a child jesus. It is traditional in the hispanic culture and it sounds different. It would sound stupid in english somehow. As to the name Maria that is fine too. It is traditional and not tacky as princess racist said. A racist would just see something as traditional tacky. What would a naked woman in angel wings by a cross know about taste. If she is not naked it looks that way anyway. Is it tacky to depict yourself as an angel when you a not a virgin? If you are not free from sin should you wear angel wings? Should an adult woman wear angel wings much less by a cross? That is sacreligios.
Perhaps princess racist does not understand the catholic faith. I do I was raised in a catholic environment and went to years of catholic school. I may not connect totally, but I have a fondness for it. Living in the american southwest I also have a fondness for our lady of Guadalupe. I think she is one of the most beautiful depictitions of mary. I find many of the other ones un approach able, but Guadalupe is really lovely to me.
I think if we wanted a true depiction of Jesus we would really need to look at a middle eastern man and take the historical time into consideration and a man of his type. I seriously doubt that the people who were painting the paintings took that into consideration. I imagine models in europe were the inspiration of paintings. Jesus is a man of everywhere so having a hispanic jesus is much closer than a gringo one becasue we do no know jesus was most likely dark complected.
Sacreligious that is the photo of princess racist, but how would she know she is an uneducated southener. There are some of the worst schools there and women are encouraged to worry about hair and make up not school.

Adobep., Im going to have to go with my wife on this one. I have never seen you and you already start insulting her. You are another user with another alias, aren't you? Are you the same "p" who has been stalking her on a daily basis? Why dont you post under your real name for once? You are a coward and I can guarantee you that she is more intelligent than you are. I am not from the south but she is and she is very smart. I dont know what school you went to but they didnt have a class for hair and makeup where she went. You are the one showing your lack of character here and lack of brains.

"Jesus" is the latinized version of the Savior's Hebrew name, which is Y'shua. Had you been there 2000 years ago in Palestine, you would have called Him "Y'shua," not "Jesus." The prevalence for the name "Jesus" in Spanish-speaking culture is a mark of reverence for the name of the Savior.
