If you have insurance, go to their website or call them and get a list of 'approved' therapists in your city. They'll provide you with phone numbers too. If you don't have insurance, look in the phone book yellow pages under psychiatry. Best wishes.

I hope you believe in God, and in Jesus...with the Lord, all things are possible...give your problems to Him, and serve the Lord,...and let Him work it out. When I have been through the worst of times, I prayed, and asked the Lord to open my eyes,and to see me through and give me the strengh to do what is right and to be strong...you have a support system here, really, if you want it...with people ready to give you their advice based on their own tragic experiences, and from what I have read here, some very sweet helpful people waiting to help you with open arms...and that really care...Good luck, and I know your prayers will be answered, if you have faith.

Get ahold of your local "Public Assistance Office or Health & Social Services Dept.", Its a state agency in your state it is out there for your help, they can stear you to the correct office that you are looking for. Depending on your income will depend on how much you will have to pay. Another way to state this is, your bill is prorated according to your income at that date that you come in for help... ask your family dr or a crisis line for a referral for counseling in the meantime do some journaling ( keep a diary) so you can feel better before your appt and dont forget to take your notes with you
