It's not so much that I don't trust him, but that I worry myself sick when I don't know where he is. Is this an embarrassing thing to make him do? Should I stop pressuring him to call me?

We've been living together for about a year and a half.

I'm not calling him, I'm asking him to call me. He says it's embarrassing, and I'm wondering if other guys think it's embarrassing, too.

It all depends if you live together. If you are then no. You shouldn't have to make him call you. He should want to let you know where he is so you don't worry. He shouln't be staying out all night if he's with you anyway.

Do not make your boyfriend do any thing. You have to be confident in yourself. Get a life. The surest way to drive a guy away from you is to be a pest. I had a girl friend who I thought was cool. She insisted we got a cell phone plan where we could call each other for free. OK. She would call me at work, even though I told her I cannot have a cell phone at work. She would call work looking for me. I told the receptionist, I can only take calls from clients. She told the receptionist, "I guess he is breaking up with me". She dug her own grave. See ya.

Well that's a real nice thing to do but think about it he is a man and he knows how to take care of himself and if there's an emergency I'm petty sure he'll call you, and you should trust him in case you're thinking something else.

Nothing wrong with him letting you know where he is going to be. Actually if he was a good caring boyfriend, he won't mind at all. However, if you are calling him too frequently, then it could be a problem.
