I don't know about you, but I'm in deep debt over my education, and I haven't spent a penny on any war. But that's just me.

Education should be a top priority, but not to the point of going into debt. If we must go into debt, then it should be to protect our country. If we don't have that there would be no need for education or anything else.

You know..... Education is war too..
since i'm 6 years old theyve put me in a school seat told me to shut up and listen to what the teacher has been told to teach me..mostly stuff thats gona be handy for my later career wich is even more handy for the big companies that make enormes amounts of money coz of us workers.. I would say education is very important but we should definately think about HOW and WHAT and WHY they teach us the things they do, its very tricky, I'm not just paranoid...

these are two different things that the government has to take care of...They pay attention in one thing and neglect the other...and what they neglect is the most important value of education..."World Peace will not by itself be born".But if the government start with a real education people will know the real taste of true peace...and they will surely hate war..
Since they dont want to tuckle this problem...let's just stat within ourselves....and Pray...t.c.

Very good question. I would say it is because war is high profile and in the right circumstances gets more votes for politicians. One would think that increasing education would have the same result, but apparently our elected officials would rather have us uninformed and uneducated. That way they can get away with keeping the jobs they don't deserve.

Because when people try to kill us, education isn't an urgent priority.

Right now, Islamic groups feel they have a mandate from God to kill everyone but Muslims in their religious denomination. That used to not be a big deal, but now with worldwide attacks, it has become the most important things the US Government deals with.

And not to be mean, but you can't educate your own kids?

It's my opinion ( and everybody's got one), That the 1 percent of the population with most of the money in the world, does not want the "have nots" to get smart enough to take it away from them- That's not profitable! WAR is profitable! "Their" value system isn't for human improvement- "their" goal is to control, dominate & keep on top! Think FOOD CHAIN!

If only more people thought about it like you do, we wouldnt be so willing to wage war, and more willing to disseminate education and learning.
