I understand what you are saying and I don't think that Muslims are being ignored. They are in the media alot here in the West.
However, Muslims are being harmed because of their attempts to harm others.
I don't think that is true here in the West.

Unfortunately too many people judge whole groups of people based on the actions of a few. There are people who hate muslims, or african americans, or mexicans etc. Personally I think this is because of ignorance. People need to realize that there are good and bad people of every race and ethnicity. Hate breeds hate. Its sad really.

No, I've met some nice muslim girls in highschool. ---I started the conversation, we were sitting around waiting for school to start one day.
If I was alone they would say hi, but if I wasn't alone, they wouldn't.
I invited them to hang out during lunch one day, but they declined.
I guess it could have been, (looking back on it now) because a few guys hung out, in my little lunch group.
