It's a little known fact but did you know Jesus had 7 toes on his right foot?

The early bible was an oral tradition. The bible was organized in groups of seven, and ten. The book of revelation is an organized review of the rest of the books, and reflects the same system. All of those boring begets and begats, are the oral framework of all of the OT books. A person who takes the time to chart the generations (seventy) will see a pattern throughout the Bible, that others will likely miss entirely. You can take all of the chapter and verse references away from the book, and not lose even the slightest bit of the Bible message. The seven pattern (along with the ten pattern) cannot be removed, without losing much of the meaning.

The special symbolic meaning(s) of 7?

In the ancient [western] world, almost from the time of the first "primitive" pastoral, maternal religions-or belief systems...and especially after the Greek philosophers [ much admired by the intellectuals of the day-including biblical writers]

the number 7 was "sacred" because there were 7 spheres of influence--the moon, sun, mercury, venus, mars, jupiter and saturn-these represented the controlling forces all of creation....

for many belief systems....Zoroastrian, Egyptian, Grecian -and therefore Roman, Assyrian, Babylonian...etc etc etc
these 7 controlled the destiny of all on earth

"as above, so below" was a common theme

From their astronomy -NOT astrology- the importance of these 7 was immediately obvious

three is the number associated with divinity, and four is the number associated with humans.

so seven has a meaning something like, "when man and heaven meet."

so read some about Kaballah. Its all hooey, but interesting hooey.

Better yet, read some Aliestar Crowley. He explains stuff well.

seven is supposed to be God's number. Everything good is done in 7's or multiples thereof. The same way the number 6 is supposed to be related to evil and satan.

1 is the Alpha (the beginning)
0 is the Omega (the end)
6 is the number of gods days it took to create the universe
7 is the nunber of completion. the day god rested

because the Seventh day is shabbot - the sabbath - God's Holy Day of rest - and mankind in its seventh day gets 1000 years (1 day to God) with the Master Yeshua Messiah, Jesus, teaching the world.
we are in our sixth day now - which is ending.
PS - discount what macmomma says above. she clearly knows nothing about kabbalah, and the number six is man's number - not four as she described.
