I was on danceline in middle school and I was pretty flexible but it's been almost 5 years since then and I am not very flexible at all anymore. I still love dancing but it's not something I get to do much anymore. When it comes to exercise and, well, physical fitness in general, I just think it would be to my advantage to get some flexibility back. What are some ways I might do that?

I think the bottom line is to start stretching again.

As we age, we get less and less flexible. It'll take some time to develop the flexibility you once had, but with patience I think you'll get there.

Here is a site with lots of stretching routines. Give them a try and see where you stand in a month or so. In addition, you may want to look into yoga.
