interesting question.
but... no-one comes to mind.

oh, and it assumes a concept of hell which is foreign to my religion (jewish). but a good question. kinda like "is there anyone you would die for?" but more intense.

Never. God would never ask of anyone such a thing, and why would anyone ever want to condemn themselves to an eternity in Hell? Prayer is the way to save another.

First, its not up to me to judge who went to Hell and who didn't. Thats between them and God.
So I definately can't tell you who I would save, because I don't know if who is in Hell or in Heaven.

And I think most people send themselves to Hell. They got there of their own free will. So its not up to me to go get them.

What it boils down to is this is a decision between each individual person and God. No one else can help them.

i definitely would go to hell if i could save one person....
but thats only on one condition that i know the person and that person is a good person and is more useful to the world than me....
for example: Mahatma Gandhi

Yes, as long as I wouldn't have to take his place: I would save my brother. He's not dead yet, but I fear he's going to go to Hell because he isn't a good Christian and he's such a terrible person. He hates everything and everyone, except my parents...and possibly me.

I would not bring anyone "back" who was already there as God has already judged them acording to His perfect judgement. In scripture though the apostle Paul said he would be willing to go to Hell himself (if it were possible) in order that the Jews would come to salvation.
