Yes it could be, and it really depedns on the circumstances of the trauma she whent through. It sounds like she needs to see a psychologist not the same thing as a therapist.

Could be PTSD. Could be your engagement is triggering. Or, could be something else entirely. She should see her doctor first to rule out any other health issues. Her doc may also be able to give her a referral to a few psychiatrists for evaluation and recommendations on therapy (talk and/or talk and meds). There are alternative types of therapy that statistically work about the same. If she's actively experience PTSD, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is supposed to be one of the more affective near-term methods.
For a little general ed, search the net but look for legit medical and/or university sites. For real answers, talk to real live medical professionals.

Yes, very possibly. She should speak with her doctor or with a counselor at the local clinic immediately, nightmares and fainting are extreme reactions, especially if she feels safe now.

It's possible. There could be other explanations, however.
It would be a good idea to get some professional help for her. It might be a treatable condition and I'm sure she'd like to be free of it.
