If you died and went and saw the divine spirit ie. God or what ever you believe in. He decided that you were bad (maybe you're not but in this case lets assume) and sent you to Hell. But when you woke up you were on earth. How would you feel?

please serious answers

this is not a question of religion but how you would feel if you found out that Hell was living? I makes perfect sense because if heaven (or whatever sancturary that is sacred you believe in) you can't feel pain or anything like that and it's great because its sop peaceful. So is the earth a 'Hell'?

Look, cut it with this religious answers it's just asking if you'd be shocked if you found out if your life on earth was really a life on hell.

If this ever happened to me I wouldn't be that surprised. There are so much bad things going on in this world so who's to say that Hell is any different?

there is a reason that I don't want a religious answer.
1. it may offend people of different religions
2. I may have worded it poorly but what would you feel if earth was the downside to the afterlife?

I would go to everyone I could find that I know and tell them to their face "I TOLD YOU SO!!!".Because it is as close to true as you'll get.All of this religion crap is the human need for a crutch to lean on.It is like a drink is for an alcoholic. You ever try to take a bottle of licquor from a drunk? He'll kill you, just as a Christian will attack you for trying to shine a ray of truth in their little fantasy world.
The christians made up this wonderful place called HEAVEN,and said God inspired them to tell it.Okay, let's look at the first design flaw in this place."The streets are paved with gold".That is a very delicate metal to put on such a high traffic area. Why is it not paved with a much more expensive and durable material, like diamonds?Simple,DIAMONDS WERE NOT DISCOVERED AT THE TIME!!!So that right there is a tell tale sign that it was made up by idiots! And it is a LIE,perpetrated to sell people on the human instinctive desire of eternal life through this religion. If you want to know where you go when you die, think back to the time before you were born. That is exactly where you go,non-existance!When the lights are out,the party is over. This so called soul,I will conceed that there might be a source of undiscovered energy that is our lifeforce. But it will be as a spark of electricity,no identity, and surely no way to KNOW anything.
Back in the days when people were crucified, they BURNED the bodies. This was in a place outside Calgary.Parents used to take their kids there to see the bodies being burned and warn them that a life of wrongdoing will lead to this. Thus the term "BURN IN HELL" originated. It was later cleverly incorporated into the "INSPIRED" word of GOD "The Bible".Funny how God would relay the same thing your mother used to tell you as a kid to scare you straight...It is all man made CRAP!!!

Why ask a religious question in the religion section and not want a religious answer? ... Anyway

Is Earth hell? no. Can you not take appreciation in the splendor of creation? A sunrise/sunset. The clouds. The trees. The beach. There is extreme beauty in the world. There are wonderful things happening everwhere. Unfortunately there is an equal counterpart. Forest fires, poverty, war, etc, etc.

Sometimes when I'm praying I feel like I'm in hell and God is going to lift me up out of here. Yet, I get scared because I don't feel as if I'm ready to leave this life. You would think that as bad as this world is that the thought of going to heaven would entice me. However, I believe there is too much to live for in this world. There is still some good to be accomplished. Although in the past I was in so much pain I wanted to leave. I would go into deep meditations and wake up in other worlds. Only to come back an hour or so later and everything looked all trippy like I was on mushrooms (yet...I wasn't). Then one time I was in such a deep meditation that I was taken up into a bright light and could no longer feel my body or anything anymore. I only felt this warm wonderful bright light and this consciousness. I felt God was with me, however, I wanted to come back so I could hang out with my cousin some more. Only reason I came back. It's important to have people you love. Otherwise there's no reason to live. Yet the more people you love, the longer you'll live.

Where did that come from?

Well, to start with I don't believe in gods, heavens or hells. So my first response would be to write off the experience as a realistic seeming nightmare, not reality. But if I were to somehow be convinced that it really happened I'd have a variety of reactions. The first would be shock that there really is a god after all who talks of heaven and hell and rewards for good behavior.
But after that, there would be some relief. After all, this God could have had the Dante's Inferno type of hell and sent anyone who didn't believe in him there to suffer eternity. So I got off light.
Finally I'd reconsider my philsophy and life. If there is a god and he doesn't like my conduct then I should try to make sure to live better. But I wouldn't adjust my morality much. I still would feel I have to make the best choices i can about what's moral or not. If someone says that god requires something I find morally wrong or that god bans something I find morally proper then I'll continue to follow morality as best I understand it. The worst that could happen, after all, is that i'd be sent back to try again.

yeah I have thought about it. And what comes to my mind is that when I think about hell, if it is worse than what I am living in now, man how dad gum bad would that be!
Right now is pretty bad with things being the way they are and escalating everyday. But the teachings of an afterlife I have received and come to believe myself, say hell is much worse than anything we can imagine.
Have you ever burned yourself really badly on the stove or had grease pop into your eye when cooking? That is supposed to be mild in comparison with the burning physical pain we would feel in hell. It is like the inside of an active volcano, in my imagination. That is not somewhere I want to be. At all.

There's a book called Embraced by the light.By Linda Edey. This kinda happened to her,Jesus wanted her to come back to earth and write that book.I will do whatever he tells me to do.PEACE!!! this life is our spiritual incubator, this is where we learn how to live in the next life, you can make it hell or heaven,it's just a state of mind. These bodies are temporary, our spritual bodies are the permanent ones.

Life here is a glimpse of hell, I believe yes, because God has allowed Satan to be ruler of earth. Now God is still in charge, but if God were to remove Himself completely, there would be no good left here.

If you died and came back you would come back as a baby. Then you could start all over again and try to do better this time around if you could remember what God told you.

well it would show me that I really am in hell. I live in rutherford county in western nc, where, if you belong to the right group of people you can molest children all day long and if you go to court, they put you on probation. and are considered a pillar of the community.
