Maybe, OCD...but I'm not a doctor...and I highly doubt any of the people answering this question are doctors. So your best bet is to see a doctor. Ask them and they should give you the best answer!

it's possible, most people have some kind of mild psychological (not mental) disorder, because the human mind is never perfect. it could just be that you've fallen into a habit, a comfortable pattern that your brain can follow, and habits can be broken. if your habit doesn't bother you or keep you from living a full life, don't worry about it, it's not that important, everyone has their quirks. if it does bother you, or starts to get in your way, talk to a professional, they can help you come up with ways to get control of it.

Sounds like you may have obsessive compulsive disorder or obsessive compulsive personality disorder. Both require mental health specialty. See your doctor for further examination, then he or she will recommend a counseling center. Call the center and they will match you to a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist to which you both need and can afford.

Im sure that some nuthead has a name for that as a disorder, but everything is a disorder now...if you have a short attention span, a long attention span, a medium attention span, if your dog farts a lot...i mean its just ridiculous. I think your just very easily entertained and have a great imagination, and have invented a game to play when bored.

I've wondered the same about myself. This usually happens when I'm bored or depressed. If it doesn't interfere with your normal functioning at your job or school or with your relationships with other people, I would say you are OK, but if it really concerns you, don't ask us here, but go see a psychologist.

Could be a sign of obsessive compulsive disorder. Or, could be just a quirk of your personality. If it's bothering you or interfering with your life, talk to your doctor.

OCD usually shows up in early childhood. Scitzophrenia(sp?) can show up much later.
