Why is it difficult to get women to meet for a date online?

Why go for online date? Don't you think meeting someone in reality is not more interesting?

Have you seen the news lately about people who meet other people on the internet and they turn out to be crazy stalkers or at the very least turn out to be less than advertised? Women in general are already fearful as it is that men will hurt them physically until you prove otherwise, but you add the horror stories of bad internet romances gone bad and there you go.

Because guys are crazy and women often go missing or get stalkers after meeting nut jobs on the internet.
