Inbuilt programming.. people watch the news, media, and listen to parents and friends.. all of which are programmed to look at things critically and negatively instead of in a positive way.
The glass can be half full or half empty, and most people enjoy seeing it half empty.. makes life more fun they think.. but it's negative and produces suffering.

It's natural instinct for people that are negative. An example would be a glass of water that is halfway fill. Do you see it as half empty or half full? A positive person sees it as half full, while a negative person sees it as half empty.

there r 2 type of people one the positive thinkers, other is the negative thinker, there is a good saying when u place a half filled glass everyone try to frame its own opinion on it as it is half empty means they r negative thinkers OK

well..because the word 'negative' exists in this world,in our lives...but remember life is like a battery...we need both the negative and the positive to charge the battery...simmilarly we need both to make a confusion and try to resolve it then learn from it...thats life..u gotta bare with it...cheers..
