Does this seem racist to anyone else? It sounds so dirty and mean.

I guess I'm wondering about the term because every time I see it used here, it seems to by someone who has a problem with a particular people and not the status.

No human should be illegal....

Its a way to dehumanize a person...We are all cut from the same cloth, the human race....Why do some of us have such a sense of entitlement?

We are blessed to have been born in this country, it was not by my choice, nor is it the choice of any person living in a third world country, to have been born there....

Why do we feel the entitlement? Its not a birth right, but a gift from God....thanks for the question.

Trust me, those people breaking their backs for pennies do not care what they are called. They only care about raising their children right and working hard. Very different from the typical american culture.

Oh, and by the way, they dont even understand what beaner and all of those racists slurs they are being called. Kudos to them.

No. It is only stating a status. Nothing racist about that. It is like calling a crippled person disabled. Is that racist? No human is illegal, true. Their actions are though.

It seems to me that you people think anyone and everything that doesn't say "THE ENTIRE WORLD, COME TO THE U.S." is racist. That word to used too much when it's not appropriate, such as in this instance. The word "illegal" is not racist. Good grief.

People who are in the USA without applying through the proper procedures are "illegal immigrants." This is not about racism. Illegal immigrants come in all colors and nationalities, white, brown, tan, beige, pink, black. Doesn't matter - they are all "illegal immigrants." Too bad if you don't like the word. It is what they are!

What's wrong with it? Too truthful for you? What I hate is people who have to re-name everything in life to suit their political agendas. Euphemisms are blatant mind-control. Death to them.
