I've tried discouraging him from smoking and he never smokes when i'm around but of coz the smell always hangs around him and causes his mouth to smell awful. Sometimes i almost pass out when we r kissing,its that bad! So how do i tell him that his mouth stinks without hurting his feelings? I'm so miserable about this and yet he is a great guy. Please help!!!!

TALK TO HIM!!!!! Be honest straight forward and don't "hint" at it. If you can't talk about little things like this with him the marriage is doomed! Communication is the most important part of a marriage, trust me I know. You two really need to sit down and think about what you are doing. I'm not saying don't get married but talk about it first. There are important things to consider before tying the knot. What do you both want to do, expectations for marriage, ie: do you want kids, religion, are you both expected to work to make ends meet, where will you live, friends visiting, cleaning of the house. It's not all about the white dress and your special day. Marriage takes alot of work, but if you go into it knowing what to expect it is worth the work! Talk to your fiance honestly about the smoking and your feelings, but be mindful of his feelings and tell him how you feel about that. See what he recommends to fix the problem, maybe a stop smoking class would help or something like that. If the smoking bothers you now and you don't discuss your true feelings than down the road I guarantee a huge knock down drag out between you because you'll hold it all in and then something small will set you off and the flood gates will open on everything you've been holding back. Tell him as much as you love him he needs to give up smoking. Instead of mentioning to him his breath stinks cause that will hurt his feelings. Tell him you can't stand the smell of smoke anymore and he has that smell all over him when your near him and you get sick to your stomach. Tell him if he loves you and wants to be with you he should stop smoking cause you don't want him to end up with emphysema etc. You worry about him. When he's kisses you tell him to first pop a certs or some gum in his mouth because you can't stand the smell of smoke anymore. That won't hurt his feelings.

Do you know where he works, or goes to school or hangs out?
Pick one, type a NICE letter about his mouth, drive to ANOTHER County and snail mail his a note.
There is a service that does that, was in the yellow pages. They have many ways to do this, but you could get creative and even make it light and funny but to the point! The more you can lead him to believe it MAY have come from his place of work, etc, the CLEARER your diversion looks. You can tell him YOU got one once too and that's why you carry so many mints which I NO DOUBT you continuously offer the gent!
YOur a nice girl to consider feelings! Bad breath and SNORING can wreck a good thing every time!

You're not really doing him any favors by discussing this with us, and not him. TELL HIM. He'd much rather hear it directly from you than see you asking advice about it. It's swelling up to be a bigger deal, the longer you put it off. The question that'll be worse every day is "How come you didn't tell me, sooner?"

Smoking is bad, ...and there's nothing wrong n telling him that smoking causes bad breath...
The problem here is that you dont want to tell him because you think theres something wrong if you tell him, thats the problem,,,, but guess what? Theres nothing wrong about it...
tell him that you dont like it because it is not healthy and makes his mouth stink, ....
Dont tell him that he has bad breath, tell him that cigar stinks and it makes his mouth stink too...
Just tell him just like that, like any other comment.

If this is your man, soon to be spouse you two should be able to talk openly. Tell him that you enjoy kissing him however that you do not like that taste it leaves in his mouth and ultimately turns you off. You can not make him stop smoking that is up to him. At least suggest that prior to kissing you he brush he teeth. Then you can kiss a Colgate fresh mouth!

Start buying lots of breath stuff! Msybe he will get the hint. Also if he is your fiance then you should really be able to tell him something like this are you guys not close or something?

tell him u did a research on people who smoke and that what it showed is that most people tend to have bad breath, jokly when u want to kiss ask him wheather his been smoking cuz u breath smell like hell and u cant stand that.be open with
