You can use a self-hypnosis visualization techinique. Here it is briefly:
1) Go someplace quiet and dark. Lay down or sit so you can completely relax.
2) Take a deep breath, hold it, exhale slowly. Picture a stairwell with ten steps leading down. A closed door is at the bottom. Imagine yourself relaxing and your body getting heavier and heavier as you take each step. Take a deep breath and exhale on each step, and think about how relaxed your body is. The point is to psych youself into being in a mildy-hypnotized state by the time you reach the bottom stair, so don't rush it.
3) By the time you get to the bottom stair, you should be able to see the door clearly, and feel very relaxed, the same way you feel when you are daydreaming in class-kind of out of it.
4) Tell yourself that when you open the door, you will see a fog, and that you need to watch the fog to see what comes out of it. Watch it like a movie, and just let your mind go with whatever images start to float around. When the images start to come together, that is your past life. Remember, you might have been a different gender in a past life, so don't close your mind off to anyhting.
I'm not sure I believe in reincarnation, either, but this is a fun exercise and it can be cool to see what your brain comes up with!

Firstly, you must know who you are in this life, the first point to understand is that you are not the material body, which is composed of molecules and atomic particles, every seven years all the molecules and atomic particles change, so the body you are experiencing now, is different to the one you had seven years ago, so there is no question of belief, because you are reincarnating within the current body.
The second misunderstanding is to identify that you are the subtle or astral body, which is constituted of mind, intelligence and ego, the material mind is conditioned, so this conditioning can be transcended, by realisation that you are a spirit soul that is temporarily covered by a gross and subtle material form, similar to putting on a coat and shirt.
The spirit soul is eternal, this means at no time did the soul not exist and at no time in the future shall the soul cease to be, the soul has form and individuality and the constitutional position of the soul is to be one in purpose and love with the Supreme soul or God, to attain the Spiritual platform you must take guidance from a bona fide Spiritual master, who can not only revive your original consciousness, but also connect you to the Supreme consciousness.

I found my past lives by feeling my way through this life. Some parts of the world, some cultures, some job skills or studies, call, resonate, or "ring a bell" when you explore them. I don't think we get to keep much more than that of the life we lived before.

If you can afford it a good hypnotherapist can do this . don't worry about losing control of our will all hypnosis is self hypnosis and you can pull out anytime yo want to. there is the selfhypnosis way but you have to be careful how you phrase the commands to your self on tape and have a audio recorder running to catch any words you might utter. books on self hypnosis are in libraries and bookstores.
