It is in the book of Genesis, though it does not specifically name them dinosaurs, it was around the time of Noah, when the earth was very wicked,. If you read Genesis it is in there. There is also, another passage in another book of the Bible talking about something called (and I think this is right) a levithan??? Not sure if that is the name, but it IS in there

While religion has no answer for dinosuars and thier fossils, the scripture speaks for itself if people are willing to listen. Dinosaurs are mentioned but almost everyone don't understand it. If you turn to Genesis 6:4 you will find this:
"4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days..."
Nephilim is a plural word for "nephiel". In hebrew it is spelled Nun, Pey, Yod, Lamed. The pictographic meaning of it is life created by the word of God.
God tells Noah that due to the wickedness of men, He will destroy all mankind and the beasts of the land. Following the logic of Noah taking certain animals on the ark, dinosaurs were left behind, except for those few examples we know today - lizards, komono dragons, geckos, etc. With the flooding of the earth, any animals that are on land were wiped out, but not any that lived in water - crocodiles and aligators are examples of ancient dinosuars that live today.
While many, if not all, people will disagree, the only way to explain dinosaurs and the fossils we find today can be explained by the Nephilim in scripture. Other examples are the behemoth in Job chapter 40, a land based creature, and the leviathan found in Job chapter 41, Pslam 74 and 104 and Isaiah 27, a sea-based creature.

In fact, I think the great dinosaurs (such as the t-rex) were here perhaps millions of years before man came on the scene. The Bible supplies no proof of this, but there are ways of understanding the creation narrative that permit this view. Here's one of them:
The original creation is described in Gen. 1:1. The six days described in subsequent verses may have taken place millions or even billions of years after the original creation. In other words, God made the universe billions of years ago. He put all kinds of creatures, including dinosaurs, on this planet. The earth, at that time and for millennia to follow, was "without form and void"---i.e., not fit to serve as a habitat for mankind. So, at some point, perhaps millions of years after a comet hit the earth, destroying the dinosaurs and filling the atmosphere with debris and causing unparalleled catastrophic events such as massive tsunamis and earthquakes and flooding of huge land masses, God began clearing away the debris from the atmosphere allowing sunlight to pass through---"Let there be light." He caused further atmospheric changes---"Thus God made the firmament." He caused the submerged land to rise up out of the waters, thus forming the oceans and the great land masses---"Let the waters...be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And on it goes. On the sixth day, He made man in His image and after His likeness and gave him dominion over all the earth and its many creatures.

Your first question doesn't have a clear answer. Some have speculated that the "behemoth" in Job refers to dinosaurs. Others have speculated that dinosaurs were the genetic-engineering of the super-intelligent antidiluvians (sp?). Less time for sin to take it's toll on successive human generations.
The world was made by God.
I believe in God, absolutely. Why? Accuracy of Biblical Prophecy. I would highly recommend visiting the source link.

Dinosaurs had and continue to employ a retinue of lawyers to keep them out of the public eye...They didn't want to be mentioned in such a controversial book like the Bible..you didn't read about them in the DaVinci Code either, did you? Barney and his associated value their ananymity.

Dinosaurs happened before the Bible. Put in perspective, when the earth was created in 7 days, we are assuming modern days. In the time of creation, a 'day' could have been a thousand years.

1. No paleontologists around to decipher fossils, etc. No sophisticated technology (in today's terms...the wheel is a type of techological innovation, remember). I mean like DNA analysis, carbon dating, etc. The stuff that provides scientists with EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE. 2. You know as much as I do. Never really cared very much anyway. We're here now, we'll be toast later. 3. Nope. 4. Total absence of empirical evidence.

well for one thing dinosaurs were around millions of years b4 the time of the bible----i doubt people at that time were doing much studying about the past-since it was quite the chore just to stay alive. I bet most people even in the 1700's didn't know thing one about the pre-historic age!
