You may use operant conditioning. Just punish him when we wets his bed and eventually, thhat habit will disappear.

Bed-wetting can be emotional. Don't make a big thing of the problem...it causes further stress, and don't shame him. It is a problem...yes...but if you push to correct it, the stress and anxiety will cause more problems. But try to limit his fluid intake in the evening, suggest that he might want to go to the bathroom before going to bed...and if an accident occurs, then gently explain that he made the mess, he should clean up the mess...but be kind.

To get me to stop wetting to bed my grandma used to wake me up at the same time every night to go to the bathroom. And I wasn't allowed liquids before bedtime, having an empty bladder helps. But, today, there are medicines that help an overactive bladder.See if a doctor can help.I sympathize with his problem.Good Luck!

Well, of course there are the obvious, have him use the toilet before he goes to bed (have him try) and don't let him drink a lot of fluids right before bed. I think it will eventually pass, but if not you could take him to a doctor to be looked at, he might have some kind of bladder condition.

I had that problem with my oldest daughter, we tried everything even an alarm that woke her up when wetness hit it. Nothing worked but finally around that age (12) she grew out of it. Doc said her bladder wasn't as big as it should of been (possibly) I think it was related to a sleep disorder explore both of these avenues Good Luck!

This is no big deal. I wet the bed till I was about 12 too. It's an insecurity thing I think, but I grew out of it. But please don't get mad at him about it because it's not his fault, and it will probably just get worse. Try going to see someone about it if you can and find the root of the problem. But I'm fine now, so it's probably nothing to worry about.

You must make sure he goes to the bathroom before he goes to bed each night, even if he says he doesn't have to pee, tell him to try.
Make sure he does not drink anything before he goes to bed.
wake him up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom again.
Also, I heard taking a spoonful of honey every night before going to bed works.
Once he hits puberty, you should not have this problem anymore.

He or she may have a physical problem. Please have them checked by a doctor for urinary problems.
They may also just be sleeping so hard they don't wake up. This may mean someone needs to wake them for a bathroom trip at least once a night for a while.
Also avoid a lot of liquids before bedtime.
Good luck.
