i am curious, when a girl is looking for a guy to settle down with, not just some fling, but actually wants to find her soulmate, what is the most important thing? you want a guy that has money so you dont have to work or worry? or a guy thats good in bed an is handsome? what if the rich one was bad in bed or the handsome one is poor, or do any of that even matter?

For every woman it is different. Personally, I chose someone with an amazing personality, one who I can laugh at life with, and have conversations that mean something, one who I can still talk to about things when we're old and retired. That's what's important to me. Money, that just comes with time. Besides, what's the saying?? "Money can't buy happiness" A Handsome guy's looks will fade and may be more important to him than you are to him! Truly you must look at yourself and see who you are to find someone compatible with you. Good Luck

Of course women SAY they want a nice guy with a good personality. I think it mostly depends on money. Sounds mean and selfish, but why wouldnt you want to live comfortably, and not have to work. Look at all of the trophy wives. You can bet theyre with their husbands for money, fame...not personality. I think its bull sh.. that women can pull this lifestyle off, and if Im ever rich, I vow not to let some gold digger settle down with me...no matter how beautiful she is.

He should have money not rich but able to take care of himself because I'm not taking care of a grown man. Looks are important because that's what attracts us to people at first. Everything else is up to you. Sit down and make a list of what you want in a future guy. Make a note of what is a must and what is not.

Go for the guy who cares about you. The one you can tell anything to and know that he will help you deal with your problems or lend an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. Granted I'm not looking to settle down right now, but my guy is everything I could ever hope for and much, much more.

Look out for a guy who is romantic as well as humorous. Who would have the knack to make you smile and have his shoulder for you in times of crisis. A guy who would be there for u to hold you in his arms when you feel lonely and depressed and whose gentle caress could soothe your soul. Someone who would look into your eyes and know what your heart is speaking. who would look at ur lips and can guess rightly what ur mind is thinking. A soulmate is one who would know what you are going to think even before that thought passes your mind.

The most important thing is for you to be friends as well as lovers. Everything else can be worked on if it needs changed, but in the end, the most time you spend with him will be just hanging out, so you have to enjoy his personality and company.
