I started growing my hair out after the 6th grade and by 9th grade it was below my bra line. I cut off 11 inches and gave it to Locks of Love halfway through freshman year and since then I cannot get it to grow back out. I really want my long hair back. I'm about to be a college freshman. My habits haven't changed as far as showering and fixing my hair except that I take showers in the morning now but that wouldn't make a difference. Any advice on how to grow back long, healthy hair?

You may have changed hair products since the last time you grew your hair out and that can have a lot to do with it because some can cause hair breakage and prevent length. Use a proffessional line of hair shampoo and conditioner, I suggest Enjoy or Big Sexy, both of these lines are good because your hair won't get tired of them. Also get conditioning treatments as often as you get a haircut, which should be every two or three months and only cut off a half inch.
Also, if you use a flat iron, blowdryer, or curling iron regularly then you should use a shine to protect your hair from damage.

First of all, good for you! That was a great thing to do.
Sadly, puberty can change how our hair grows and the rate that it grows. It can speed up or slow down. Sounds like yours slowed down. There's not much you can do to speed it along except take good care of it along the way to prevent breakage.
All those vitamins and pills don't work. Don't waste your money. They won't hurt, but they haven't been tested or proven.

Try main and tail shampoo and conditioner. Take a multi vitamin and pull in pony tail to pull at roots to stimulate them.
