I want all my bridesmaids to have updos at my wedding but one of them has hair extensions in her long hair and isn't sure if she can have all of her hair up... this is because the hair is attached with wax bonds... moreso on the under parts of the hair and the person who usually does her hair doesn't think she can put it all up without it exposing the wax bonds and looking bad.

If you have experience with this or helpful information please let me know.. or if you have pictures of hairstyles that might work with this sort of thing...

If you say 'yes, you can'.. please elaborate for me. It's useful to know that it can be done... but much more useful to know how..

and she is going to get it professionally styled.

The bridesmaids could all have an upsweep to the back of the head, or get decorative bob pins with the crystals, to still make the style look elegant, where only the decorative end of the pins will show. This can be done into a decorative design for all of the girls, like a lattice look or an X, which is the symbol for a kiss. The pins can be put just under the wax fusing.

First of all, Congrats!
Of course she can! She just needs an experienced stylist to do it. She probably won't want to try this herself since she can't see the back of her head. If one of you knows someone who is great with hair, get her help. Try some styles before the big day one lazy afternoon.

Look for some styles that sit low at the back, not high on the head if the underside is the main problem area. Maybe a chignon?

Yes it is possible. You can back comb or tease the hair to cover the hair extensions. Or if the extensions are mostly in the back, she could do a low chignon or a style that starts with a pony tail in the low back of the nape.

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. I actually have short hair and guys like it. And i prefer a guy with short hair over a man with long hair because long curly hair tends to make guys look also girly.
