TSS, toxic shock syndrome, has a rash that resembles a sunburn and develops within 2 days of the beginning of a fever 102 °F. It will be widespread, covering all of the body or at least most of it. It may appear in the same place on both hands, feet, arms, or legs.

You may also experience a headache, muscle aches, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, profound weakness, confusion, and signs of shock. In short, if you had TSS, you would be mighty, mighty sick.
