People have always been intimidated by and jealous of the Jews.

It is nothing new.

Because everyone makes Jews out to nbe controlling. and, by the way, to correct some people. 1plum, you are a b*tch. No, Jews did not accept Jesus, Jesus was a Jew. Jews thought of him as just that... some Jewish guy. Some people thought he was more than that. Those people were starving, desparate, and in need of hope while the Romans taxed them and forced them into Paganism. These people are not weak minded or anything, just willing to believe the unbelievably in dire instances. This is why I am not christian. To whynotaskdon, the first real church is Hagia Sophia in present day Turkey. So shut up. And yes... Christians all were originally jews. SO this makes sense. It's just a jewish place of worship. To Atheistic Jew, you give other Atheistic Jews (like myself) a bad name. Jewish people, and jewish parents, say not to eat things or not to do scertain activities to follow the Torah. If we didn't, we'd be chrisitans. Fact is... St. Paul was desparate for some followers. So he edited here, erased there, and wound up with Judaism lite, no keeping Kosher, no Jewish holidays (which were expensive to actually follow for a small village). Thus, Modern Christianity was born. Not to sy that Christians are bad, just that their religion has questionable beginnings. All truely educated Christians know that. Priests, Bishops, even the Pope would admit they had a rocky past with morals. Wich is another reason people hate Jews. Christians blame them for killing Jesus. JEWS DIDN'T KILL JESUS!!! ROMANS DID!!! WHY WOULD JEWS KILLA RABBI!?!?!?! Romans hated him for causing an uprising, and they killed him. That is it. Mel Gibson is wrong. And should be put to death by firnig squad.

Gibson has issued tirades against many people, even when he hasn't been drunk. Anybody who isn't Catholic .. he hates gays...and even anybody who doesn't agree with his views. The Jews are just his latest focus of hate. Why do people hate? I don't know. Gibson does 'cause he thinks he can get away with it. He's done it many times before. But I don't know. Even less I know when Gibbon says he's a Christian. Maybe he's a lousy Christian whose an ignorant bigot into the bargain. Maybe he's jealous of the Jews. Maybe he dislikes the Jews because he says they were responsible for the death of Jesus. Of course that would ignore the fact that Jesus and all the first Christians were Jews. Who knows what goes on in that festering turmoil that is Gibbon's mind.

The links below are just a sample of how prolifically spite full Melanie (Mel) Gibson is.

Found !
The Seal of The Messianic Church

EVIDENCE THAT THE EARLIEST CHURCH IN EXISTANCE WAS JEWISH

One of the strongest evidences for this is the presence of many artifacts, clay pots, and lamps, which are engraved with what has come to be called the SEAL OF THE MESSIANIC CHURCH.

The seal has been copyrighted as " Seven Branched Candelabra/Star of David/Fish"

A book entitled "The Messianic Seal of the Jerusalem Church" by Reuven Efraim Schmalz and Raymond Robert Fischer has been published (Olim Publications, P.O. Box 2111,Tiberias, Israel.

Top of Seal see the Seven Branch Candelabra that stood before God in the Temple.

Below that, see the Star of David, which is from the 7th century BC. It is composed of two interlaced, equilateral triangles or DALTHA (D for David). "A star shall come forth from Jacob, and a scepter shall rise from Israel" Numbers 24:17.

Below the star is a fish which is an early Christian symbol in Israel. It was transported to Rome, and by 150 AD. Clement of Alexandria suggested to all his readers that they include the sign of a fish in their personal seals to identify them as Christians. Later the Greek spelling for the word fish ICHTHUS was incorporated. The first five letters of the words that spell "Jesus, Christ, God, Son, and Saviour."

In the Messianic Seal, the cross appears as the Hebrew letter TAW.

The artifacts were discovered in 1990 by Tech Oteeoos, a 90 year old Greek Orthodox monk, in the vicinity of the, what is believed to be, the original Church founded and pastored by James the Just, the half-brother of Jesus. When the actual grotto was excavated by Oteeoos, numerous inscriptions were found on the walls. The period of its use on Mount Zion could only have been from the crucifixion in 30 AD to 135AD.

Jews rebelled against Rome and forced Rome to expend many resources to quell the rebellion. That rebellion eventually ended in the destruction of Jerusalem and the dispersion of Jews. Rome prohibited them from occupying Jerusalem or surrounding area due to their previous terrorism & violence against Rome.

Following their dispersal from Rome, they began migrating to other nations where they set up communities that refused to integrate with the surrounding communities. Which led to even further persecution (based on their history of being terrorists & rebels).

That practice continues today and it is normal for people who refuse to assimilate with their neighbors to be persecuted.

Gibson's comment was blown so far out of proportion it's amazing anyone even dignifies the controversy by considering it worthy of discussion. The reaction was worse than the comment.

They hate because there is hate in their heart. Jews are God's chosen people and they are supposed to be a blessing to this world by sharing God's word. I have always loved Mel and it hurt my heart because of what he said and the people that were hurt by it. Good people screw up too and I think that there is more love in him than hate. He fell off the wagon and screwed up. It's human. It is my hope that he redeems himself to himself and others and that he will be forgiven.

Be Blessed

Why do some people hate blacks? Why do people hate? These like to find a group, which they believe they can use as a scape goat for all their problems. If they don't do that, then they believe in astrology and blame it on the stars in the sky.

The Jewish religion has existed for over 5,000 years. Christians have only been around for 2,000 years. Before people converted to become Christians, most were Jewish. Those Jews that didn't convert, remained to be Jews. The Christians have what is called a mission religion, meaning they feel they should convert everyone to their religion and believe what they do. The Jewish people today, are ancestors of those people who didn't convert and have continued to be troubled by Christians because they didn't convert. Jews don't look to convert people to their religion, instead they just practice their own religion and that's that. Christians have take the stand that either you are with us, or against us. So they are against the Jews. The question most people have to ask themselves are, why have you not convert to a new religion each time one has been formed? The answer is pretty simple, you already have a religion and it suits your needs fine.

During WWI, Hitler in Germany used the Jews as an escape goat for the countries problems. He was insane, no question about this. He killed over 9 million Jews. This is referred to as the holocaust. They were stripped of their rights and sent to death camps and were treated in unspeakable ways. These Jews were people living in Germany for many years, just like, for example, blacks living in the US. Imagine if the US Govt decided that all the society problems were because of blacks in the US, regardless of their status, and sent them to death camps? You can only imagine the horror of such an act. This is what Hitler did during WWI with the Jews, who were citizens of his own country. Many professors, doctors, etc. from Germany fled to go to other countries to escape. I know this sounds unreal, but this happen in the world during WWI in the 1940s. It wasn't that long ago, and there are many people alive today who have seen these death camps, it was totally real.

People who are anti-Semitic (hate Jews) are very misinformed, while some claim the holocaust never happen. This would be laughable if it weren't so horrible of any event. There is so much documentation, films, writings and personal stories from those still alive that were there and saw it. You might wonder, why they deny this then? Well, it is because it was so horrible of an event, to kill 9 million people under the direction of a mad man, that they would rather pretend that it isn't true.
There were many Jews who escaped and when they came to the US, the converted to another religion, because they never wanted to be subjected to anything like the holocaust again. There are many people living in the US, who say they are Christians, but in fact, their family was Jewish not long ago. Can you imagine, such a horrible event, that you would change religions and never admit who you are because of the fear. There are people who have founded out now about their originals roots that they are Jewish and practice the religion once again.
Mel Gibson's comments were very hurtful and hateful to not just Jewish people, but to society. Drinking and DUI is one thing, but those comments are how he really feels. It was very near the surface for him to have made those remarks, which is why people rightfully so have such an outraged reaction to it.

As for people who claimed that "Jews are pushy" or whatever, really don't know what they are talking about. It's a myth. I have heard these comments from people who work in new to New York City and then I have to calmly tell them, that the person they are talking about isn't Jewish at all. It isn't a Jewish "thing" it can be a New York thing, or big city thing. I know this realtor in NY, who told me, someone from out of town remarked that she was a "nice Jewish girl", and she corrected them by telling her she was not Jewish and was Italian. Speaking of Italians, people who aren't from New Jersey, think many people with their accents in New Jersey are in the mob. Another myth!
