I recently relocated to be closer to my siblings after our Mother passed. Now I'm stuck in the middle of their bickering(older brother, younger sister). It seems they want me to take sides and that puts me in an awkward situation. I love them both, don't lie to them(don't volunteer info on them either) and tell them they need to talk to each other. No luck. I came here to keep the family together but sometimes I just think I should leave and let them handle it, for better or worse. What do you think?

man that so sucks! Keep telling them you love them both and wish they would talk it out.

Have you considered suggesting "family" counseling? There may be bigger issues over your mother's death.

Quite honestly - my mother is happiest when she is fighting with one of her sisters. She needs someone to be the focus of her fury.

Good luck

Live your own life but keep in touch with them. Don't push them to talk to each other. They'll come around. I have a younger sister and an older sister also and lots of times i'm in the middle. Just hang in there and don't put your life on hold anymore. When one of them starts to talk about the other, tell them point blank that you don't care what they think about that person because you have your own opinion.
