Just don't smoke. 2 or 3 can lead to more, cigarettes are very hard to quit once you are hooked. If you can smoke 2 or 3 a day then why not 0.

I am a former smoke, I use to smoke two packs a day. I started when I was 14 and by the time I was in my twenties I was up to two packs a day. I would like to think that a couple cigarettes are far less harmful then a pack. But according to the what his name general, he claims they are all bad. I guess many people smoked for many years and have not died. Yes some have died and some has not. I guess its a chance you take. But I would imagine that far less people die then the amount of smokers. I am a former smoker and I am not one to lecture people on smoking. I quit because my daughter was allergic to the smoke. I never smoked in the house, but even it on my clothes, she was allergic and was very sick. I quit for my daughter not myself.

Well technically it doesn't matter if you smoke half a cigarette or a whole pack a day, you still have a humongous risk of getting cancer, lung cancer or any other disease obtained from cigarettes. My advice, DO NOT SMOKE!!! It is horrible no matter what.

It's a hell of a lot better to smoke just 1 cigg. a day than 1 pack a day. You are at a much smaller risk for cancer, but 1 pack a BIG risk. You shouldn't even smoke at all if it's just 1 cigg. That's not going to do anything but make you feel sick, lightheaded, and just be pointless.

I've heard somewhere that each cigarette takes about 7 minutes off your life...so 14-21 mins a day...98-147 mins a week....392-588 mins a month....4704-7056 mins a year... or 3.3 - 4.9 days a year.... your results may vary on various factors

The risk is small if you're young and in reasonably good health. The real risk is that you'll smoke more and more over time and end up getting hooked.

all of us smokers started with one or two cigarettes a day. that is enough to get you addicted, and then the need increases so that you need more each day. please do not start smoking at all. i wish with all my heart i had never started, i wish that back then we knew of the risks, and the addiction.

Just the amount of tar entering your lungs, that's all. Seriously, it's bad no matter what, but the less you do it the better.

The least exposure you have the better off you are...anything in the lungs but air isn't good for ya.
