How can people become more aware of the healing energy that is around us, coming to us, and within us?

I think something horribly horrific has to happen to you. Only then will you be brought to your knees and realize that life is fragile and you could be gone tomorrow. Would you really want to be remembered as a nobody? As someone who didn't do a damn thing noteworthy of anything in this world?

OK so many in here are just kids having fun and pokes at those who take life a little too seriously....everyone waits for a miracle to happen. What people don't realize is God has empowered us all to make miracles happen. I'm sure if you think about it, you can think of how to make one happen yourself.

This Christmas each child at school bought dollar store items and put them in shoe boxes and this man we know who spends his whole life doing just this, took them all to a poor village in Guatemala. Imagine the looks on these children's faces to just witness the beautifully wrapped presents...and their joy when they opened the boxes and found stuff in there that they had never dreamed of...it was nothing to us...just trinkets from the attic or a few things from the dollar store...but to these children, we must have appeared to be miracle workers. It doesn't take much....it just takes the desire to want to.

Being part of, or taking the lead and doing, something like is how you get the feeling of being healed. I would like to think that is how God would rather us be rather than hiding in fear and praying for our souls. Action speaks louder than words....words are just words and nothing if not reinforced by what you do.

Firstly the desire for an individual to transcend the material realm must exist, the material energy which is the inferior energy of the Supreme has the potency to cover or shroud the living entity in illusion, that illusion manifests on a gross level by perceiving the material body as ones self, the material body is constituted of molecules and atomic particles, so we are not the material body.

The second misunderstanding is that I am the subtle or astral body which is constituted of mind, intelligence and ego, false ego is to identify that which we are not, we are not the material body, nor are we the conditioned material mind.

The third understanding is what we actually are, an eternal spirit soul that is temporarily covered by a subtle and gross material form, similar to a coat and shirt.

When this level of realisation is attained, then the individual soul can connect or "tune in" to the all pervading soul or God, because we are part of God, both the individual and Supreme are eternally existing and are one in love and purpose, this connection can be re-established through a bona fide Spiritual master, when this connection is made then the healing can begin because we are in our constitutional position.

The world within us is wider that the whole universe. Healing is possible through spiritual realisation. Here we have to admit that all sicknesses first affects our spirit and then reflects in the body.

By tuning the mind we can rectify the spirit and that will gradually heal body.
