Did you ever notice that people who post questions or answers on here, whenever they talk about killing people, they always point the finger at christians. Now, I am a christian and I have alot of christain friends, and we have not gone on a killing spree. You see what I am saying. Plain and simple I am saying that almost everyone on here who is not christian, are prejudice against christians. Anyone else but me notice that?

Brenda's World, christianity does not teach to murder, quite the opposite. God did not murder those people, He punished them, they wronged Him, He gave them chances to turn back, they denide Him every single time, so He punished them.

lespaul_athiest_returns, these were all done in the name of christianity, but they were not done by christians, there is a difference, like I have said before, the Catholic Church is the biggest cult in the world.

People say stuff because they know they will get a rise out of people.
Christians get picked on b/c it's socially acceptable. I don't see any Muslim or Jewish people getting slandered. Why? Because it's socially unacceptable.

I've noticed it... But I've notice the finger leveled at Muslims as much as Christians.
I'd say pointing that finger without any comprehension of the reasons behind it, the society in which it occured, WHEN it occured in history, and what led up to it is probably one of the most common and most idiotic things that is done on this site. Atrocities are easy enough to look at single-mindedly, but it would be a disgusting oversimplication of what is often a very complex situation. There is no such thing as a blameless side, and I can only hope that people don't judge religion by the actions of its extremeists, especially without bothering to try to understand the reasoning behind them.

I have struggled with my temper over the things that are said here. I have been guilty of lashing out at non believers. I have ask their forgiveness and ask God's forgiveness. The bible tells us we will be hated for being Christian's. The thing is we are not to hate back. I believe there are alot of kids that play on here. They shouldn't say the things they do, but we aren't supposed to judge and be hateful towards anyone. We are so close to the end let's not let something this trivial cause us to miss out. God Bless You. If you feel your self getting mad and wanting to be nasty towards anyone. Leave the site until you calm down. That's what I've started doing. Plus I don't answer question's that are purposely antagonizing.

These people just need to feel good so they try to teat someone else down.
3rd time I've used this tonight.......
Understand that people usually attack what they don't understand or what they are afraid of.
I think most of the users on this site know that the "trash" being put out here is not coming from Christians. When I see something totally negative I just pass over it and look for the good. Afterall isn't that what we should be doing in all areas of our life.

i have and have realized that it's because it's the easy thing to do. easier than reading a newspaper and finding out who the real perps are. the ones who kill even their own, because that is all they know how to do. you even find americans pointing their finger at christians, because they do not inform themselves. they only feed the ability to cause war further for the radical muslims and islamists, because they feed the media with power to question anyone's right to fight terrorism. these people are sheep, fed by the media, who just need the controversy to sell papers.when are people going to realize that you don't need to be a christian, a muslim, a hindi, an islamist to stand together as humans and demand an end to terrorism? terrorists do not let people live a free, safe life. they permeate every area that they can, and try to make terrorists out of everyone, even though they caused there to be war in their country.we need to stop thinking in terms of religeon to save the world from these people, but rather in terms of region. wherever terrorists are, they need to be hunted down and made to pay for their attrocities.

It's politically incorrect to make that statement about muslims. Besides, at the hands of just those 2 religions, how many hundreds of thousands of people have died. Between the Crusades, terrorism, the war in the middle east, and the extermination of hundreds peaceful tribes (killed for not converting), the death toll is pretty damn high. History, not god, will be your judge.
The old testament tells that its alright to kill non believers, and contrary to what you may think, they were not only done in the name of christians, but by the church...Torqumada was a Cardinal and head inquisitor.

I'm a christian but lets be honest. Many wars are between so called Christians! Did you ever stop to think for example the war between the states when baptists from the North were fighting & killing & being killed by baptists from the South. Do you think God is even in this? If both sides are christian then how can we go out & kill someone who is supposed to be out brother or sister in Christ.
I believe it comes down to our loyalty to God or our Nation! It shows if we really are christians or not!

You and/or your friends say they do not wish to kill, but Christianity and Islam like to kill their fellow human beings.
I know there are many nice people who believe in God, but the real evil amongst us, are the vast majority of religious followers and believers who have clearly shown over time to be the major instigators of wars, violence, abuse, greed and practically everything evil on our planet.
Even according to Genesis in the Bible, God is clearly the greatest mass murderer in history. The Bible is full of terrible atrocities and evil, far more than nice things, but of course believers will just ignore or twist the atrocities into whatever soothes their confused minds.
Everyone knows of murders and violence associated with Christianity and Islam, I suppose all of the other major religions have a track record of killing their fellow human beings as well.
God is the greatest mass murderer in history.
References: Genesis 6:11-17 and Genesis 7:11-24
Some examples:
GE 6:13 - And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
GE 6:17 - And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Seems to me that God (for you believers) is annoyed with humanity other than his buddy Noah, and decides to kill (murder) every living thing on the face of the earth, except of course Noah and his family - got to have a few friends left.

Then we give them a simple explanation. Murders, rapes and incest are cause by people who are mentally and psychologically damaged.. not bec they are christians or buddhist or whatever.
God doesnt kill, he take away... He is the author and finisher of His plan. What He wants to do, He will, so those people who say nasty things watch out... When God's wrath befall you, u r done...

Have you ever heard of the Crusades? Or the Inquisitions? Or the witch burnings? Or the general burning and torturing of unbelievers and heretics which went on for thousands of years in Europe?
These were all committed in the name of Christianity.
