MY DAD YELLED AT ME BECAUSE I SPENT $10 ON MY KITTENs?

YET HE SPENDS $10 ON COFFEE EVERY DAY AND NEVER SKIPS A MEAL.

BUT I SPEND A COUPLE OF BUCKS ON FOOD AND TOYS FOR MY KITTENS HE GETS UPSET AND THREATENS TO "GET RID OF THEM"

I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT STABBING HIM.

YES IT IS AN ALLOWANCE BUT INSTEAD OF BUYING FOOD FOR MYSELF, I SPEND IT ON MY KITTENS. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT?

LIKE I SAID HE BUYS EXPENSIVE CARS LIKE A BRAND NEW LEXUS, EATS OUT ALL THE TIME AND BUYS WORTHLESS STUFF LIKE $2000 GAZEBOS AND $5000 GREEN HOUSES BUT I SPEND $10 ON MY KITTENS... WHAMMMMM! HE GETS PISSED AND THREATENS TO KILL THEM.

I AM SOOOOOOOO MAD RIGHT NOW I MAY STAB HIM SOON.

No need for violence. Someone once told me that the best way to win an argument or fight was by out-smarting them mentally. That shows class. Tell your father you need to talk to him, even if you guys don't talk, it will show him that your really serious about this and it will eventually make you feel better. Tell him if he stopped spending 10 dollars a day on coffee or junk that he would save 3,650.00 a year!! Tell him that you feel spending 10 dollars of your own earned money every now and then on something that brings you joy is much better than what he is doing. Also tell him that you can't respect his choice in yelling at you over this when he does the same exact thing.

you know what sometimes peoples anger builds up and they let it out on other things. Chill out and talk to him about this. Tell him you think when he spends ten dollars on coffee each day that he should care about your kittens too and instead of one days ten dollar coffee he can buy your cats a reasonable gift that will make them really happy! Give him some time i know he's acting unreasonable, but we all do things we regret! wish u luck!

Speaking as a father, first of all doing serious harm to him is wrong. I know you are angry, but stop and think first.

If the money came out of your allowance, or you did something to earn it I don't see the problem. I wish my own daughter would spend more time with "her" dog.

I'm sorry your father yelled at you, and you do have the right to be angry as it was unreasonable for him to yell at you for spending money on your kittens....i think its okay, as long as you're not spending a whole lot of money on them, and if its for reasonable things.....if its his money, then it does give him a reason to yell, so you should think about getting a job so you can take care of your baby kittens...I'm sorry your father did that....if you're not ready to talk to him about it, i suggest talking to your siblings or your mom about it...and you can give them your reasons...they'll be able to talk to your father about it, if you're not ready to do so.....if you just want to ignore him, then get a job so you can pay for your kittens's necessities....
