It helps. You should keep doing that (jump a little bit higher when you jog). You can also do jump ropes. In addition to what you are already doing, you can either go to the jump and use the leg press machine with weight on it, or you can do leg press by doing tip-toe standing or tip-toe press. If you want to increase your work out, you can also hold two weights on your hand (for example, two dump bells/bell bars) and do the tip-toe stand up leg press.
You can do 20 times each or do that until you feel your calve tire.
In a good work out, you should feel tire or the "burn" on your muscles. Just make sure you warm up before you go exercise and stretch before and after you exercise.
Count and do the leg press exercise slowly, other wise it would be a waist of time and energy.

If anything, jogging a lot will just make your bum and legs toned and firm, not bulky. It also gives your midsection a nice workout, believe it or not. In order to get bulky muscles, you need to do some heavy weight lifting and have a special diet to back it up. Also, women have a harder time achieving bulky muscles due to the lack of high testosterone levels. . . I'm assuming you're female, anyway, since I have never heard of a man who doesn't want muscles. . . Anyway doing any form of cardio exercises shouldn't cause any issues. Tip: Stick to eating healthy foods and have a regular intake of protein for every meal or snack(maybe up to 30-50g of protein a day). This way, your muscles will have resources to be repaired with so you won't feel sore the next day.

Jogging will keep the fat off your legs and tone and define the muscles. You would have to do some serious weight lifting, deep knee bends, to increase the size of your leg muscles. Jogging is a good cardio exercise. You need to reach your target heart rate for at least 20 minutes for training to take place.

yeah jogging just improved your overall fitness u know.its good but if you want to get lean or tone do specific work outs.like if you wanted to get a tighter stomach do situps or crunches to improve that.if you want cuts on your arms try doing some curls or dips. it make your biceps bigger.and get a tan too so you could be dead sexy with cut arms and get some girls kno what im sayin dog.but keep jogging too cuz that keeps you in overall good health.oh yeah and for your legs do some reps on the squat rack at your local gym.i mean to build legs you need a squat rack u know but for other stuff you need a gym u can just your bod and the stuff around you instead of blowing your money at a gym.unless its the gym i work at then ill gladly give you some pointers but no one elses ok.nah im just kidding but u dont really need a gym for your arms or abs but a squat rack would really help for legs.jogging will do it but squats just takes less time alot less time.but id jog anyway cuz while its building up your legs your also getting faster better endurance and just staying healthy.so it like killing 2 birds with 1 stone or really 3 birds but w/e.i would definitly keep jogging.

Jogging, not so much. Running, yes.
Try ankle weights and running up hills, down hills. Vary your pace, the way you run, i.e. run backwards, sideways, high step. Make sure your running shoes fit your type of foot (pronation, supination, flat footedness). A good shoe salesperson will know these terms and be able to explain them. If not, ask your doctor, which you should do anyway, anyone who is starting an exercise regimen.

Yes Jogging does give you muscles but you will usually get more leaner muscles. If you do Squats you can bulk up in a hurry or you can use steroids. your choice.
The good Cardiovascular exercise i would recommend would be Basketball it sounds strange but it can really help your endurance and heart.

Jogging won't bulk up your legs unless you constantly run on a incline. But that will only bulk up your thighs to a certain extent.

Jogging isn't going to bulk them up but it will tone them. To bulk your legs up you'll need to do specific leg exercises.

Not really, cardio really helps to tighten up/slim legs. Also you can do leg work at the gym , or Pilates :)

Jogging is not that good in my opinion. A stationary exercise machine might be less jarring on your system.
