I cannot encourage you enough to read all the way through the text. I have been taught to always read a few verses before and after. If it is still unclear read the entire chapter and then the chapter before and after. It is usually fairly clear in context.
check out Matthew 13:. 29. But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn............................. 36. Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39. The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the HARVEST IS THE END OF THE WORLD; and the reapers are the angels.
40. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42. And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The book of Mark aslo gives us some insight, expecially the alnguage comapared to Revelation.
Mark:426. And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
27. And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
28. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
29. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
compare to Rev: 15. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

You are about to witness the harvest. It is a massive blood letting that actually depopulates the earth. It is brought about through war, famine, disease, and natural disasters. The harvesting of the earth is the reason there actually was an Eve. She was a crisis survivor, this is why are gene pool is so small. We are all one big family. Any way after this harvest the remnant will be civil as Jesus ( the epitome of civility ) taught us to be. Whether or not there really is a second advent nature will take this course. We will die.

The harvest is Armegeddon--when the weeds (unbelievers and false Christians) are cut down and done away with and the wheat (true Christians) are gathered under God's Kingdom Government.

Rev 14:14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand.
Rev 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe."
Rev 14:16 So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.
Rev 14:17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.
Rev 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, "Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe."
Rev 14:19 So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia.

Their have been 2 types of seed from the very beginning. Cain killed Abel. Abel had the good seed planted in Him that comes from God, Cain had the bad seed. Isaac had 2 sons called Jacob and Esau. Jacob is of the good seed, Esau is of the bad seed. Esau is the father of the religion Islaam. Any way, the Harvest refers to those Christians when Christ comes back, that have had the good seed planted in them and as a result during their lives they have bore good fruit. Remember Jesus cursed the fig tree coz it bore no fruit.

It's when God comes to harvest the crop of souls on Earth. Christians think they are going to heaven, but in reality they are just his food of nourishment. He needs a certain type of willing soul, so he has told them how to be. The rest of us, don't get eaten.

The Harvest is when Jesus comes to reap....He will pick the weeds and destroy them. Basically, yeah. He will pick the fruit-producing (sweet aroma) "plants" and replant/transplant them.
