How do you view/picture the christian God?

i don't any more. When I was a kid and went through Catholic school, i figured him as some old dude in the sky watching everyone. As I matured, i realized that there was so much more to this world than the christian faith was willing to address, so I walked away from it. No hate or dislike, merely a different path

God is just another fake creation by man.

Humanity has created many Gods, for example – Gods of Olympus, Ancient Egypt, Babylon and so on. Most of us are atheists about most Gods humanity has created, except the latest craze, the current God in the Bible. Learned atheists have also rejected this version of a God, but some hard-core believers still hang on, presumably until a better image of God is created by man.

Faith in God seems to be nothing more than humans attempting to run away from reality, an excuse to avoid thinking and evaluating evidence. Faith is just an emotional escape and really just a substitute for opening your eyes to reason.

Believers talk about God creating man in his own image. It’s in the Bible so it’s fact – get a grip, get real. The facts suggest the exact opposite. Man created God in his own image. I’m sure humanity will disregard this God, as they have disregarded all previous Gods, it’s just a matter of time before humanity creates another God that better serves their emotions and image.

There is not one single matter discussed in the Bible out of the many thousands of issues raised that has been proven true, yet many matters have been proven false.

You don’t really need to be a rocket scientist to deduce with practically 100% certainty that God and the Bible are fake.

God is the greatest mass murderer in history.

References: Genesis 6:11-17 and Genesis 7:11-24
Some examples:

GE 6:13 - And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

GE 6:17 - And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

Seems to me that God (for you believers) is annoyed with humanity other than his buddy Noah, and decides to kill (murder) every living thing on the face of the earth, except of course Noah and his family - got to have a few friends left.

God allowed women raped and your little children slaughtered.

From God’s so called Bible - Isaiah 13:15-18

“Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.”

How any decent person can believe and follow the Bible is beyond imagination, seems like religious people just ignore the bits they dislike and twist the rest into a happy delusion, much like the behaviour of drug addicts.

You mean Mother & Father God,they are not what religion has painted them to be we us they'r children should realise the simple and logical factores,if we are made to Gods image there has to be both a Mother and father God ,for there is a duality in every part of creation both male and female he is the thinker, she paints the canves ,God the father and mother are the all mighty
perfection ,they were the creators of creation ,and the christ was the most perfect of beings, who came to the world to give not only his life for us ,but is love in the name of the father and mother God, God is Perfection ,God is pure ,God is Love, God is the truth, God is Light not vengefull us religion has made him and her ,christianity only came to be after christ was murdered for Loveing the world and the people whom didnt understand him for he came to show us Love and humanity and to show us how to conquer evel for the devil does not co exist with us there is no Devil but devils in all man kind people choose to be devels not a satin in reality. sorry for this hole speal but you asked about peoples vews and i poured out my heart

The only God who loves us enough to leave the glories of Heaven and show his love to us through dying on the cross.

Which automatically makes all other "gods" obselete.

Either I'm right and there is no god, or I wrong and there is a god that hates children.

My God (Father of Jesus) is a pure, loving, forgiving God, who also has feelings. He gets upset, angry, even jealous. He also gets happy, pleased, and joyful.

He created the world and sent his one and only son to take upon himself the punishment that we deserve for our sins, thus creating a way for us to get into a right relationship with him.
