My husband cooks all the time as I work much longer hours than he does and he seems to enjoy it. He cooks all sorts of things but I think his favourites are nachos and pizza. He's not the best cook in the world but he's trying really hard (and I love him for it!).

My husband can cook anything. I can follow directions in a recipe, but he can just come up with stuff and it's always delicious. He loves to go fishing, so a lot of the stuff he cooks involves fish. My favorite things that are cooked by him are fried fish, blackened grouper, grilled spanish mackeral, filet mignon, and chicken wings. Great, now I'm hungry :)

My husband will cook but when he does, there are tons of questions....Is this diced small enough? Enough salt? What pan should I use? How long does it take to preheat the oven? and so on.........so to save myself from repeatedly answering questions, I'll just take over.

But the one thing that my husband makes without any question asking is some dish that his family calls "Roman Holiday."

The answer is, "Why would he want to?"

The answer to that is, because it makes you feel loved, or respected, or happy. Your husband will be motivated by how he makes you feel, so let him know how he can make you feel things he wants to make you feel and he will do whatever.

Oh yeah, my husband is a cooking fool! He makes a lot of things. One of my favorites is his homemade potato soup!! He also makes a mean breakfast...homemade hashbrowns, gravy, sausage, bacon, bisquits, eggs! Damn, made myself hungry.
