It won't work. As more people buy gas from other outlets, those outlets will raise their price. Just stop buying gas.

The trouble is --Clinton allowed the 5 major oil companies to buy the smaller ones out (I am sure he knew why they wanted too-together they can't be called a monopoly-which is against the law). Bush has done nothing to stop them-at all.
There is enough money for all their Greed. And profits show this. What companies own the different stations-I am not sure. Exxon is the biggest-with Shell following. Next time I am on site I will bookmark it.
So they have the power now and can do pretty much what they want-like the FDA. They can give every excuse they want--saving for a shortage--leaks--blah blah blah.
They will support who they want in office next year--for favors on -leave us alone. and that money will be hard to beat.
I do not go Exxon now or Shell. And Citgo has some crummy things about it too.
Best wishes-it is too bad some didn't take to this post-because it really is helpful. We should all do what we can on things that hurt us. All of us-no matter what our other views are.
