Your natural hair colour is almost always the most flattering for your skin tone! - Everyone was born to look thier most beautiful=)
I've been dying my hair blonde for 6 years, Once you bleach it you never get the same quality back into your hair.
I only do it now because my hair is beyond repair, I'd discourage anyone from bleaching...
I've been from blonde to blue 3 times and all i can say is if you don't want greenish mouldy looking hair after a week DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!
P.S Blue hair is so not cool, It suits NO ONE.

If you are having dark hair then your hair will have to be stripped of its colour using a product with ammonia in it, This is bad for the hair, however , you can dye it blue with a rinse that will not come off and doesnt last more then 3 hair washings and doesnt damage the hair.

Dying does quite an amount of damage to your hair, but exactly how much is sth really difficult to measure. It depends on the kind of hair you have (more or less dry, greasy, or plain normal; the drier your hair naturally is, the worse it'll get if you dye it), your age. Hair deteriorates with age, but of course, many women of old age have to, or choose to dye their heair for aestethical reasons; anyway, you sound young to me, so I do't think that's your case. Anyways, the old ladies cases help you see damage it's not that your hair will be awful, 'cause many old ladies with hairs dyed are happy with them.
Now, it's true that you hair gets drier the more you dye it, and also thinner, more fragile and more prone to fall.
Some really good but also expensive products can help amelliorate those effects and everything, of course, depends also on how often do you plan on dying your hair.
The more you dye it, the worse it gets.
But, I reccomend you to think why you want to dye your hair that way; did you make a promise or sth like that? It's not the best thing to do with your hair; that's for sure...
Hope I've helped you,
D.

Dyeing hair is not damaging. The new hair (and hair care) products are very safe! I've been dyeing for more than 20 years, my hair quality is no different from what it was 20 years ago! Same with my friends who'd been dyeing theirs

A lot. At least blue is a fairly large color molecule and should stay in the bleached hair. You have to be careful to totally get through the red stage or you will end up with a funny green color. I would suggest a professional.

It will probably cause some split ends & breakage & dry out a bit. It really depends on how the condition of your hair is before yyou do this, if your hair is in good condition it shouldn't be too bad.
to prevent that be sure to deep condition for a half an hour at least once every month. & try not to use thermal styling too often.
Just to clear something up, once your hair grows out of your scalp it's dead, so dying or bleaching it isn't going to kill it, it's already made up of dead cells

If it is done right you should have just minimal dryness but here's the downside unless you do a double process blonde and make sure there is no yellow hue in your hair as the blue fades it will fade to a nasty green color.

you dont dye hair blonde, you strip the color out, and add yellow which makes it blond, and it makes your hair thinner, hense trying to make your hair dark after being light for extended time, is difficult the dye wont hold on very well. and its bad for you hair so your answer is alot

bleaching it blonde is the worst part, if you have short hair it isn't that big of deal but if your hair is long then it will really mess it up, I've had personal experience with this
