than just two minutes out of the day. He's at the bar having a beer and calls me to say hi and bye and i've barely spoken to him today, yet he chooses to spend time at this bar with his buddies. He's kinda pissed at me because I'm going to the beach for the weekend without him. I said, You know i get upset when i don't talk to you during the day and he said get over it. I think he's rude and my plan is to NOT speak to him for a while.

Not only should you be pissed...you should permanently ditch him.
I bet if you quit calling him for good...you'll never hear from him again UNLESS his is looking to hit the booty.
To save you some grief....here are a list of danger signs that a dude ain't diggin ya! I posted this in case you flirt with a guy and aren't sure whether he likes you or not.
1. He never makes plans with you in advance.
2. He talks too much about an ex-girlfriend and/or other females and how hot (or sexy or attactive) they are!
3. He won't talk about the future
4. He doesn't plan anything for special occasions like your birthday or Valentine's Day!!!
5. He lets you do all the work and doesn't plan dates, etc.
6. He's overly guarded about cell phone and email messages.
7. He has no interest in your friends and family.
8. He cancels on you all the time.
9. He flirts and asks for your number but never calls you.
AND THAT IS DA TROOF!!!

sweet shy just get rid of him before things get worse guys like him are a dime a dozen find some one that will fill your day and evenings ..dont put up with this fool who seems to have one person in mind himself he seems to be selfish you can do a lot better then him let him have his bar and buddies go to the beach have fun smile and flirt you never know mr right may just come along and you can leave mr wrong at the bar good luck and have fun

My plan would be to not speak to him ever. Drop this guy like a hot rock, girlfriend! If he is hanging out in bars with his buddies most of the time, that should tell you where his priorities are. And it doesn't appear to be you!
