I am a Christian and I have two Wiccan friends. One of which became upset and spoke in an odd language on another person. Was that a spell? And if so, how would one go about cancelling it to protect the other person?

Spell casting is a little more complicated than just uttering a few words. Especially curses and such, which by the way, are against the Wiccan rede "An' it harm none, do as thou will". Chances are she learned a few cool sounding words in Gaelic or something and was showing off/trying to freak people out. I wouldn't take her seriously.

Say a prayer for your friend's protection. But I wonder how "Wiccan" your friend really is. This doesn't sound like the way that any of the Wiccans that I know act. In fact, it sounds quite immature and at odds with the beliefs of the religion of Wicca. Was she trying to protect herself? I could understand that. Or was she trying to instill fear in others? Not a mature thing to do.

Since you are christian and shouldn't believe in Wicca you should just pray to Jesus. However, it's also imortant to point out that casting bad spells on people is not really what Wicca is all about and if someone is using the knowledge they gain from Wicca in a backwards kind of way it will come back to them 3-fold so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

How do you counteract a spell? Simple you don't.
You better just stay away from those "friend" and all other people who practice magics.
You might get urself hurt. Don't be stupid enough to fall for it, just run away.

You go to the store and buy a can of "Wicc-away" Just follow the instructions and everything will be just fine!!!

All you have to do to counteract it, is not believe in it, unless they've used drugs, then it would be best not to consume them.

i doubt it...that's not what wicca is all about....but if it makes you more comfortable surround the person with white light for protection...
