Is the Fire Valley in New Mexico actually producing live lava flows currently in our day and age?

Its a State Park...I visited but never got an answer - the ranger was out to lunch - The blackened rock formations looked to be pushed up from underground and it was 115 that day so the ehat couldnt be verified as being subterrainium (SW)

no, it is not an active volcano field. That temp in NM is not unusual in the summer. I hope you had lots of water with you that day.
