Now I lay me down to sleep,
I ask you, Lord, my soul to keep.
Guide me safely through the night
and wake me with the morning light.
Said every night with my 3 year old son.

I don't limit my prayers to bedtime - they seem to be a stream of conscious thought that I keep going throughout the day - especially since I'm currently in the process of nursing my Daddy back to health after open heart surgery - we both have fibromyalgia, so I'm constantly asking God to relieve our pain so that we can be of assistance to each other and to give me wisdom as to the easiest ways to bypass our pain and deal with protecting the chest. So far, we've been pretty inventive! God blesses us when we ask and are willing to try just about anything to make life as pain-free as possible in recouping!

I'm not ready to go to bed yet, but I send a variety of messages to thank any elder beings out there who might have touched my life today.

Umm... No , why would I do that? Are you a Muslim who has to pray at a certain time every day? Not that that's a problem, I'm just not a muslim.
