Not so, No1. In a college course, I made wine using Juicy Juice. It wouldn't win any awards, but it was serviceable enough. Anyway, wine isn't that difficult to make. Try this page for a very basic method: http://drink.allrecipes.com/AZ/HmmdWin.asp

First of all YES you can make wine with juice (I happen to be fermenting a batch of my families elderberry wine myself as we speak). Secondly it can be done at home with the right equipment (and yes in Texas as long as you don't sell it to others)

See this site for more info on how to do it and what to use...(I'd give you my recipes but they are a family secret, hope you understand! :D)

This site also rocks and give you more stuff too (especially recipes, YUM!)

I am not sure that you can do it with juice.
People make wine sometimes here in Texas (in the country).

It is always too sweet and very heavy.
Not great stuff.

as far as i know wine is made with grapes. the reason is that the grape naturally lends itself to wine making because it contains all the necessary ingredients: sugar, tanin, moisture, and nutrients. not saying you can't make wine with your juice, but it probably won't taste right. there's an article on making wine here:

It will be hard to get the proper coloring without the skins. Also, making wine takes a lot of chemicals that are hard to come by, and nearly impossible to come by at such small quantities as you would need. I suggest that you don't try... you may accidentally poison yourself.

You can make table wine. I read a bunch up on brewing your own beer. You can look at those websites and find out. Just look up beer brewing yeast or something along that realm on google. You will find what you are looking for.
